III. Below, we outline the purposes for processing your personal data:
registration of participation in the 15th World Congress of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC), which will be held from 2 to 5 June 2019 in Kraków (the ‘Congress’), setting up an individual account in the registration system, organisation of the Congress and its implementation, and efficient communication and transmission of information regarding participation in Congress,

IV. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (‘GDPR’).

V. Your personal data will be processed during the period of organisation and duration of the Congress, and after its completion – until the end of the period of limitation for potential claims or for a period resulting from applicable provisions of law.

VI. Your personal data may be disclosed to entities whose services are used by the Controller in connection with the organisation of the Congress, including the company that oversees the registration of Congress participants.

VII. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries or international organisations.

VIII. Personal data will not be subject to automated processing or profiling.

IX. You have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify it, erase it, and limit the processing.

X. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or other competent supervisory authority) if you feel that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

XI. Your provision of personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary to participate in the Congress.

XII. If you do not provide your data, you may lose the opportunity to participate in the Congress.

XIII. Please be advised that the Congress will be recorded in the form of photographs and video recordings, and may be disseminated for the informational and promotional purposes of the City of Kraków.
